As a true Southerner I love to create warmth and charm in all my spaces! Having a home that is inviting and welcoming has always been important to me.  I want my guest to feel like they can come through my door, grab a seat, a glass of sweet tea and stay awhile.

My mother says I have had an eye for aesthetics since I was young. At the age of eight I tackled my first design project while visiting my grandmother. I remember she had a montage of birds along every inch of one wall. The shelves along this wall even drenched in bird figurines. After walking past this wall a couple of times I finally told my grandmother she needed to get rid of some of those birds! With a smile, she said, "Really? Which ones?" She had officially given me permission to decide which feathery friends got to stay and which ones had to go!

I have always had a knack for looking at a room and knowing what needs to be changed and what should be added.
